Connecting WooCommerce
COO Studio can connect directly to your WooCommerce store via its REST API to automatically import orders and sync your product catalog.
Step 1: Create API Keys in WooCommerce
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.
- Click Add key.
- Enter a description (e.g., “COO Studio”) and set Permissions to Read/Write.
- Click Generate API key.
- WooCommerce will display a Consumer key and Consumer secret. Copy these immediately; they will not be shown again.
Important: Keep your API keys secure. Treat them like passwords.
Step 2: Add the Store in COO Studio
- In COO Studio, navigate to the Import Data page.
- Under the WooCommerce Stores section, click Add Store.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Store Name: A nickname for your store (e.g., “My Main Shop”).
- Store URL: The full URL of your website (e.g.,
https://yourstore.com). - Consumer Key: Paste the key from WooCommerce.
- Consumer Secret: Paste the secret from WooCommerce.
- Click Test Connection to verify the credentials.
- Once successful, click Add Store to save.
Step 3: Syncing Data
Once your store is connected, you can sync data at any time:
- Sync Orders: Click the Sync Orders button next to your store to import new orders.
- Sync Products: From the Products page, use the Sync dropdown to pull in your entire WooCommerce product catalog. This is useful for populating your COO Studio catalog with HS codes and origin data stored in WooCommerce.
